My god does this project. Like I said, one spray. It smelled up my entire room and was still present after a shower. This might even be stronger than MFK. I will always love MFK for creating BR540 but I can't afford/justify the price. Took a chance with this one and I am blown away. Flaws but not dealbreakers: With approximate longevity of up to five hours, those who require an all-day shelf life will be better served by fragrances like Al Haramain’s Amber Oud Rouge or Boy Smells’ Flor de la Virgen, which typically last around 8-10 hours. How to use it: With its budget price tag and fragrance profile that lends itself to any occasion, Miris No.35774 is a solid option for first-time cologne users and guys who just want an accessible scent that won’t wear out its welcome.
Given the many people who report good performance all I can think is poor quality control in their manufacturing process... I can still smell this very faintly after an hour if press my nose right on the place where I sprayed... I gotta reiterate, this is STRONG. Put on a couple hours before you go out strong. Super strong with a lotta ambroxan. Why it’s great: Finding a luxury Baccarat Rouge 540 alternative is a bit of an oxymoron, don’t you think? Isn’t the whole point nailing down similar notes without the luxury price tag? There’s some logic to that, sure. But since we’re already here, what better 540 alternative than one made by Maison Francis Kurkdjian itself. Enter the perfumer’s Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait de Parfum. While it’s by no means cheap, it costs less than its older brother and delivers the same come-hither scent and longevity you’d expect from the brand.

The presentation is very impressive like for the tobacco - fancy hinged box and nice bottle. With all that effort it's a shame that the fragrance doesn't live up to expectations. This not a release that Al Haramain can be proud of.But this... This one takes the cake on clones for me. One spray on my hand yesterday and within seconds, antiseptic smell, burnt cotton candy, and ambroxan. Its so much ambroxan but not in a bad way. This is 95% the same. It is basically the same fragrance. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference in a blind test. I dare you to try ! Like a red bridal veil adorned with golden embroidery lush in the scent of celebration, Amber Rouge calls out to those in search of completeness…those who want to take love in the air and turn it into winds of passion & obsession. The compelling fragrances of jasmine & orange ignite the first spark, and with saffron & praline at its thumping heart, oak moss, amber & seaweed are the distinct aromas that stay with you long after the tempestuous moments have left you gasping for more.

There is almost no sillage right from the start - after 15 min I doubt that anyone will notice you are wearing this.. It has the thing with BR540 that I think is what people dislike about it where you smell it up close and the antiseptic/bandaid smell is very prominent, from my limited knowledge I'm guessing that's the saffron and ambroxan but I really don't know. I love it because it's strangely alluring, many cannot stand it. But, your scent bubble is intoxicating and amazing. That juxtaposition is just so clutch. Why it’s great: You already know Boy Smells for its impeccable and wide-ranging lineup of fragrances suitable for any occasion you can think of. So you shouldn’t be surprised that within its catalog lies a sneaky Baccarat Rouge 540 alternative—Flor de la Virgen. Saffron, jasmine, and musk are accounted for, of course. How to use it: Like Baccarat Rouge 540, this is a long-lasting scent that won’t overpower the room but won’t fade into oblivion either. Not everyone is into cologne in its traditional form. Sometimes you just want to smell better than everyone else without having to do all that strenuous spritzing. Dramatization aside, roll-ons are convenient and often smell lovely, as is the case with Impression #333 from Quality Fragrance Oils. These guys specialize in alternatives, so take what they do with a grain of salt. Focus instead on this travel-friendly scent’s impressive longevity and amber, jasmine, saffron, and cedar notes. Sound familiar? It's almost like they rebottled BR540 extrait. I don't see Al Haramain talked about as much in terms of clone houses. L'Aventure didn't smell as synthetic as CDNIM and was a worthy Aventus clone.
