The only danger I think with the touch is that it looks like a full bean to cup machine with the touch screen, but it's not. This assumption, though, is incorrect – as I discovered when I first used the Express and the Pro side by side. I must admit i’d forgotten that the guidance (in the manual) is 25-35 seconds for optimum extraction; i tend to judge success by the pressure gauge hitting the mid-point of the extraction zone, pretty much the needle being vertical – so with the Pro you aim for around 30s extraction mark, is it that simple (too long needs coarser grind / too quick needs finer grind)?
Which means a LOT of people likely will have issues with their setup if a problem occurs while in warranty.
