Our Award Winning Gins are expertly made by our Master Distiller, Tom Nichol who’s experience in the gin industry amasses over 42 years. The result is a delicious gin with a complex flavour that is perfect for sipping on its own or mixing into your favourite cocktails. Whichever experience you choose, you’re sure to have a memorable time with the fantastic Spirit of Harrogate team. The team at the distillery handpicks the rhubarb and distills it with limes grown in the Victorian Hot House alongside fresh ginger root.We really enjoyed our Master Distiller experience at the home of Slingsby Gin in Harrogate and would highly recommend it to other gin enthusiasts. It's always a pleasure being welcomed into a warm atmosphere filled with lots of different and delicious gins, but it was the people that really made the experience memorable. Running throughout you can expect notes of Classic Dry Gin flavours before hints of Pink Grapefruit on the undertone along with a Floral Goodness to balance. Our experienced Master Distiller, Tom Nichol, has lovingly created a classic gin by combining traditional processes with a modern approach. Inspired by the health qualities of this timeless fruit and dreaming of holidays with clear blue seas and skies, Blueberry Harrogate Gin was born.

This gin is made with hand-picked rhubarb from Ripley Castle's gardens, fresh ginger root, and Harrogate spring water. Inspired by the historical Estate surrounding us we have created a beautifully balanced British gin of exceptional quality with sweet and floral notes. Reminiscing our grandmothers’ crumbles, we were inspired by the abundance of this vibrant plant in the gardens of Ripley Castle. It was both fun and engaging to balance botanical ratios as well as making the right heads, hearts and tails cuts.

We especially enjoyed the distilling room where Ben expertly guided us through the distillation process and the huge variety of botanicals we could use in making our own gin. Throughout, you will also have the opportunity to enjoy a selection of signature serves crafted with the award-winning Slingsby range. Fresh lavender, blended with citrus notes from pink grapefruit and orange peel, beautifully accentuates the flavour. Nestled in the beautiful and historical Ripley Castle Estate, seat of the Ingilby baronets for centuries.
