We have had a bit of a cold spell in the weather for the better part of a week in the PNW, much cooler than the 90 degree weather we were having when I received this mini and tried it then. Very fresh for summer staying power was for days the hair mist very lovely minty and lots of compliments. The lemon and mint opening was interesting, and there’s definitely an aquatic note, but it strikes me as too synthetic, I think from the lemon and definitely the jasmine. Thankfully I don't suffer too much that one weird thing my skin does after the opening since it's longevity is nonexistent. I like the rounder bottle and the polished gemstone looking top, much more than my more squared bottle and boring, round plastic cap. After a few more hours and checking again at the end of the day, I found I liked the way it had developed much better than when I initially applied it. Other reviewers say this smells like a mojito, but it smells more like a mojito that has spilled on one's sundress and dried in the sun. There was a time in the nineties, after l'Eau d'Issey came out, where everyone was putting out clean, radiant fragrances in minimalist packaging.

To me this one not only smells too mature on my skin, but also that brown sugar note is trying to make that mint last longer to no avail. I went on a bit of a sweaty mall crawl today (dry California suburb, mid-June, sunny Saturday afternoon, school's out, long weekend for some, go figure), and this perfume was an absolute treat to sample in the aftermath.The base notes never become too prominent, but support the longevity and it stays a freshie for a long time! I never really finish perfume bottles especially after a week of getting them, so you know this is a special one. i love the bright lemon and the fresh, cooling mint in this and combined with the white florals it is so so pleasant.

For years, we have been dedicated to crafting exceptional fragrances that captivate the senses and leave a lasting impression. But as I wore my sample, 9 years ago now, I slowly fell in love with the brown sugar, lemon, and mint combination. I also tend to get headaches from jasmine but it's very light here so white floral haters will still probably enjoy this fragrance. And I can see how it could be a great summer citrus alternative for people who think Light Blue smells like bug spray like I do. Also, although it's not listed in the long list of official notes, what I mostly get from the fruity aspect of the scent is melon - which in my opinion is just okay as a fruit, and not great in perfumes either.

Here the lily of the valley and jasmine are deliciously creamy and feminine and toned down by the aquatic and the green notes.

My mom was gifted a bottle and I stole it :D I don't smell the mint as herbal or peppermint, but it's more of a feeling, that super refreshing cooling feeling that mint gives a drink on a hot day. Please note that the fragrances offered by Blossom Perfumery are inspired by well-known scents in the fragrance industry, and they should not be mistaken for the original high street, designer, or niche brand fragrances. I know the votes lean towards day wear usage mostly, but a late night dinner date after swimming all day, damp hair, a beautiful dress, a fresh tan, hydrated skin, and I can see this perfume being magical during night time! Want to love this but something about it is just off for me and the scent changes quickly from something amazing to something awful unfortunately.
