About this deal

Okay look, i didn't read this myself BUT it was read to me by my nine year old niece and that was very special so it gets added to the list. It is always my desire to entertain children and encourage them to think about and explore their world, and the worlds beyond, embrace creativity, and love learning for the duration of their life. Waking a sleeping bear isn't a great idea especially if you happen to be a mouse or a hare but I think accuracy would have resulted in a very different book so. As mentioned already the comparison of illustrations and words would be very effective in learning about comparisons.

Evidently A sat on her own in front of Sham, because he wanted her to be in her own space, and she wobbled over at one point but didn't cry to everyone's surprise. The story is about a hibernating bear who stays asleep whilst other smaller animals have a party in the warmth of his cave. This cute children’s book was posted in a series of waterproof stands outside the Gilbert House Children’s Museum in Salem, Oregon. Registered office address: Unit 34 Vulcan House Business Centre, Vulcan Road, Leicester, Leicestershire, LE5 3EF. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.Great way to introduce hibernation and also talk about some misconceptions about what other animals do during the winter. Her hobbies include reading (of course), photography, baking, yoga, and a passion for Mixed Martial Arts.

This story sends a message that it is ok to do something if you want to and never mind the consequences. Combining her desire to make the expensive computer pay for itself, her new-found typing skill, and her love of children’s literature, Karma started writing for children. A winter frost covers the trees of Regent’s Park, a snow storm is brewing and a tiny Mouse is looking for somewhere warm and safe to hide…a nearby cave could hold the answer but what else does it hold? This account of bear and his friends doesn’t end here; there are two sequels, ‘Bear Wants More’ and ‘Bear Stays Up for Christmas’. Countless rejections and three years later Karma was finally accepted by book agent Steven Malk (who had already rejected her once, which she never lets him forget). This book was selected as one of the books for the September 2013 - Bedtime stories discussion at the Picture-Book Club in the Children's Books Group here at Goodreads.
