It sure does smell clean, but I was really hoping for the scent of the fabric itself and the warmth of the dryer, not the scent of my college dorm’s laundry room. I always am intrigued by scents with descriptors like "linens" or "sheets" or anything indicating it'll make me feel like I'm wrapped up in the fuzziest blanket straight out of the dryer. going into retesting the scent with the idea that i hated it kind of made it seem better than i remembered. Top notes of citrus, lemon and sea, mix easily with orange flower, fruit and amber and end up in the most natural combination. It's the kind of scent I want my pillows to smell like, simple, very fresh, and comfy, but I'm not sure if it's a scent I want to be associated with.

I love the zing and punchiness of the ginger and citrus in the beginning which tickles ur nose but it settles down to a beautiful aldehyde scent. Opens bright, almost sparkling, with sour ginger and a main presentation of clean cotton and white musk. I enjoy Skin (berry floral-musk) and Terra Woods (creamy/woody/salty musk), but both Rain and Warm Cotton have that cleanser note characteristic of many "freshies" (like Chloe EDP) that I just can't get down with.
