These sleeping bags are squared at the top and bottom for that rectangular shape. They give you that home comfort feeling by having zips on both sides so it can be unzipped fully turning it into a duvet, whilst also being able to zip together with an identical bag to create a double sleeping bag. Ideal for when you have a little more room to spare and perfect for caravanning or indoor use. Whilst the rectangular shape may give you familiar home comforts, the sacrifice is that you will not get the same level of warmth compared to a mummy shaped bag. Plus, you’re also adding more bulk and weight because of the design. Mummy Sleeping Bags I found the VaporAiress to fit me well, with my bust and my sternum fitting with inches to spare on the adjustable chest straps. The VaporAiress, in the 1X-3X size, fits sternum sizes 41”-50” and busts from 45”-51”. Although I did not test it, if you were looking for extra inches, Nathan also makes the VaporAir in the “men’s” sizes, which fits sternum sizes 48”-58”.The Coleman Big Basin is a king-sized sleeping bag with a rectangle design. This rectangle design is perfect for heavier people and people who move around a lot while they sleep. The rectangle shape of this bag ensures that you are not constricted well inside of it. The Kelty Cosmic is a fantastic sleeping bag for tall people with athletic builds. The slender mummy-shaped design and shorter shoulder girth make this design not so great for heavier users. However, this sleeping bag will help you stay dry and sleep warm all night in below-freezing temps. Best Sleeping Bag for Broad Shoulders: Big Agnes Echo Park Tho while it can handle the cold really well it does do a surprisingly good job in the warmer climates. This is if you keep the adjustable hood loose, and also make sure to us the 2 way zipper. This will allow it to breath and keep you cooler in the warmer moments.
If you’re like me and love to opt for a sports bra on hot days in the sun, the Take Your Time Bra might be for you! This light support, long line bra comes in a variety of colors. The buttery, stretch fabric of this piece allows me to enjoy all day comfort. However, it can also help accommodate for people who are tall as well. While it’s not the longest on this list, it has an impressive 85 inches in length. This is still a lot of room for a lot of people and according the specs will be good for people, who are up to 6 feet 5 inches tall. Quite Comfortable To Sleep In One thing that I like about this sleeping bag is the feet of it. They made it to be more of a square style area. This will give your feet a little more room to move around. The exteriors are constructed from a variety of synthetic polyester fabrics several of which have been given a DWR finish. DWR stands for Durable Water Repellent and this treatment helps water to bead into droplets, which easily shed from the surface of your sleeping bag. This soft exterior shell is wrapped around hollow fibre insulation that helps retain heat next to your body. Baffled, sewn-through construction helps to keep all the layers from shifting so that no matter how much you roll around during the night, you’ll still be warm. Extra wide and well insulated This sleeping pad was my choice while on the AT. I used the Static V Ultralight sleeping pad, but there’s a wider version called the Static V Luxe Ultralight sleeping pad. During the night, I tend to roll and flop about so this sleeping pad was made for me. It isn’t the most cushion you’ll get but it’s pretty sturdy and doesn’t slide around as much as other sleeping pads. Big Agnes Sleeping PadThe Nemo Disco sleeping bag is the best sleeping bag on my list overall. The Marmot Sawtooth 15 LXW was a close runner-up, but the Nemo Disco is too great to pass up.

Cold sleeper’s (women’s) bags that use the warmer “comfort rating” as their standard will inevitably be heavier than the equivalent warm sleeper’s (men’s) bags. It simply requires more of a given insulation to achieve more warmth.
The Anvil Horn 15 is available in a women’s version (called the Daisy Mae 15), but only the men’s (or unisex) has a long wide size option. We did not test the women’s regular in this round robin. Season 2 sleeping bags are designed for use in UK late spring and early autumn where nights can get cold. These sleeping bags are ideal for camping in the UK outside the summer months such as kids half term holidays. These bags are also great for those who feel the cold in the summer.
The best sleeping bags for tall people have one (obvious) over-riding requirement: they needs to be extra long.
