Adblue gets injected into the exhaust system to create a chemical reaction that reduces the amount of NOx the car produces at the tailpipe. AdBlue is the most commonly used Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). It contains deionised water and automotive urea and serves to reduce harmful exhaust emissions in diesel cars.
