As you might expect, the Blutune comes with all the connectivity features you might need, including DAB+, DAB, and FM radio, combined with Bluetooth in case you want to stream music and content from your phone. Charging your smartphone couldn’t be easier than with the Blutune 300. Simply place a Qi-charging compatible smartphone (or other compatible device) on the dedicated place on top of the system. For none compatible devices, you can also charge via the USB interface.
However, you cannot expect more from an audio system in this compact size. The integrated equalizer allows you to adjust the sound to your taste. Thus, trebles, mids and basses can be adjusted here. If you don’t have that much tonal sensitivity, you can also select the predefined equalizer modes from Roberts. Although the Roberts Blutune 5 does make for a beautiful portable radio, it’s also an excellent partner to keep on your bedside table too. There are two alarms built-in so you can tune your radio to your morning routine. As well as sleep and snooze timers, the Blutune 300 gives you dual alarms, with the option of waking to the radio or a buzzer. Combined with the smartphone charger, this makes it ideal for bedside use. While it’s certainly not the cheapest radio/CD player, the Roberts Blutune100 Sound System offers value for money given its quality and durability. This sound system sounds amazing, so if you want to enjoy your music in all its depth and detail, the Blutune100 is a good choice. For example, you can select the appropriate source and then play around a bit in the equalizer or skip the next song. As an alternative to the control unit on the radio itself, you can also use the included remote control. This offers all the buttons that you can find on the radio itself. Anyone who wants to use the BluTune 300 in the living room will certainly be happy about this alternative. The sound qualityThe bass level is quite high on the default setting, and the treble is a little edgy, but you can adjust the Blutune 200’s performance with the graphic equaliser. Additionally, the system remembers your EQ settings the next time you switch the device on – which is a handy feature. Fitted with DAB+, DAB and FM tuners, the Roberts Blutune 300 is well equipped for tuning into a wide range of radio stations. DAB+ and DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) give you access to the widest range of stations, in crisp and clear digital sound quality. In case your favourite stations aren't available in DAB, the Blutune 300 is also equipped with an FM tuner.
Unlike the Roberts Sports DAB 5, the Blutune 200 isn’t a portable device, but it’s relatively easy to move it and set the machine up and different parts of your home if necessary. Roberts Blutune 200 review: Ease of useThere are more affordable options out there, and to some extent, you’re paying for the classic Roberts styling and attention to detail with this model. However, we think it might be worth splashing the extra cash. At first, setting your Bluetooth up can be a bit fiddly. It’ll be worth it as you’ll also be able to enjoy high sound quality whether you’re streaming or playing music through your radio connection. Roberts ensures you have enough depth and volume in your sound to keep the party going.

The Roberts Blutune T2 is a great combination of form and function. When you set the alarm, you can either choose to have the machine wake you up with a buzz or with the radio station of your choice. From the moment we unboxed the Roberts Blutune 5 portable radio, we had the urge to run outside and start blasting love songs under someone’s window with it. That’s the kind of vibe you’re going to get, and it matches well with the “retro” character that’s so common from Roberts Radio.Intended to be more than just a basic portable radio, the Roberts Blutune 5 is a high-performance Bluetooth streaming device and incredible bedside radio.
