I have since retested Touch a few times and I'm no longer getting that old, dusty, cedary wool sweater smell. I suspect that the initial spray simply released turned perfume from the nozzle/sprayer and that is why it smelled so off, so strong and so off putting to me. In my subsequent tests I have come to see the appeal of this fragrance. It's woody soft, a bit peppery with rose and vanilla. It reminds me of a mixture of Donna Karan Cashmere Mist and Elizabeth Arden's True Love.

This is what I've been searching for! A fresh, warm, soft, elegant fragrance that's not too much of anything. I was searching for a scent which had the freshness of a men's cologne, was soft and wearable everyday but still had presence. I think this is it! I got it yesterday in a swap, thanks Cori.x, and I had smelled it before but at the time wasn't sure it was what I wanted. My very first ever fragrance I ever got and first fragrance that turned me into a fragrance junkie. I was overwhelmed that there is massive amounts of scents that were both pricey and better than Old Spice and Brut. Sharp and tangy opening, which fades down almost instantly into a soft, sweet, powdery, woodsy, creamy skin scent. Absolutely perfect for office wear or for class, definitely a daytime fragrance. I think this could be worn by a woman of any age. I love the wooden texture of the stopper! If I smell directly from the bottle it kind of makes my head hurt, but on my skin I have no trouble at all. I love this house and I'll definitely continue buying their fragrances! This one is best suited to fall in my opinion- it's warm and comforting like a soft, worn blanket, but it's not a heavy fragrance at all. Best of both worlds!Touch smells fine. It's light and delicately creamy with understated fruits and a woody dry down. It's very demure and polite, and it would be a good office scent. It's also one which wears close to the body, within an hour it's hard to find, even as a skin scent. The first spritz of Burberry Touch hits you with its refreshing combo of powdery violets, bitter artemisia and tart mandarin. This initial freshness then blends harmoniously with white pepper, cedar, and nutmeg. The winning touchdown, though, comes courtesy of a manly mix of white musk, vetiver, and tonka bean. As a result, the tone changes from sharp and citrusy to comfortable and cosy.

As a woman, this fragrance makes me weak every time. Its a cool calm and collected macho man. Very masculine. This is the PERFECT office scent. Lasts all day and does not project obnoxiously if you work in a smaller space. I work in a fragrance free workplace and have never once had a sensitive Susan complain. (3 sprays, one on each clavicle, one on lower chest. Let it dry then put on my shirt)

When my husband wears this I want to lean in and lay my head on his chest. It has that effect on me. Wouldn't mind if this is all he wears-ever! Has a spicy softness, and fits someone who is fun, sensitive, sharp-witted, strong-willed, and above all, open and friendly to everyone. The Eau de Toilette formula offers around 4-5 hours in terms of longevity. So, if cloying colognes have you swiping left, Burberry Touch is a great match. Layering this with "English Laundry - Oxford Bleu" extends the life of the scent to 6-8 hours!!! I use 3 shots of Oxford Bleu, let it dry down...then 4 shots of Touch and I'm good for the whole day. They complement each other perfectly (to me) and extend the life of the Burberry to make it through the entire day. :) Burberry Touch for Men- This cologne holds as a strong contender for the ultimate office scent. In the first spray, strong musk, cedar, and fresh “cotton” laundry smell strike with authority. Very light citrus can be found. Dry down on skin holds powdery/floral with little notes found in initial spray. Dry down on shirt holds fresh “cotton” laundry scent mixed with violet leaf.

I didn't expect I could find this unique mysterious scent in a normal drug store. The strong green of currants and spiciness of pimento make unique top and the dried powdery scents of vanilla,So, I had found a small bottle of this for a very cheap price at Marshalls or TJ Maxx, or something like that. Burberry Touch is a perfume that is confident to win even if it competes against famous and very expensive niche perfumes. A fresh feminine floral with an interesting woody base. I'd like Burberry Touch more if it lasted longer but that aside I have no complaints. It's one of the few perfumes in my collection that feels suitable for someone my age. It's unique, interesting, & versatile to boot. Definitely one of the more complex fragrances from the house. Burberry fragrances have a reputation for being cheap, especially the newer ones, but Touch is nice. Fragrance notes comprise the three distinct scent layers that constitute a given perfume. They all work in unison to create a lovely smelling fragrance. Burberry Touch is one of the notable fragrances for men from the Burberry Classics collection. Introduced in 2000, this Burberry cologne is my favorite blend of woody, floral, and musk notes that are gentle while still having a masculine presence. So, this was a pleasant experience, the opening was a sweet woody aura, the vanilla only popping in for a moment and the rest was the spicy floral of rose rounded out by woods and the damp earthiness of moss. On the dry down the vanilla did become more pronounced, but the wood actually held its own, supplemented by the moss, while the rose faded away entirely. I don't know why, but the main note I can think of is peach, even though there are so many other notes that I can detect...Also,, my nose seem to relate it a lot to Chanel Allure... This is not my type and I won't buy a bottle of it but each time I use my decant,I enjoy how complex and at the same time well put together it is.it's not a girly or an overly feminine scent.not a floral fruity or a vanilla scent.it's in it's own league and can be even a signature for one who feels it's for her.it lingers on my skin for +6 hours.sillage never passes moderate A very underrated fragrance that deserves more recognition. Would definitely recommend smelling first before buying, but if you're into powdery, pseudo feminine, dark, intimate scents, then go ahead and blind buy this bad boy.A light perfume, the first note is violet lilac scent, the base note is powdery. A classic old perfume. Although Burberry Touch can be considered a more intimate scent, that doesn’t mean it is weak. The fragrance is constructed to envelop you and only project to those who have come a bit closer. This is what I wanted Versace Pour Homme to be, but the VPH had a sharp synthetic note that my nose didn't like.
