About this deal

Known as Winglets, to date four short stories have been published; these peer into the lives and development of secondary characters (ex. Fierceteeth, Deathbringer, Six-Claws, Arctic, Foeslayer, Snowflake) who are featured in the main books/ Legends titles, by expanding upon untouched areas in the world of Wings of Fire and incorporating further character development. Originally published exclusively as e-book titles, the four stories - Prisoner (2015), Assassin (2015), Deserter (2016) and Runaway (2016) [6] - have since appeared several times in print: three titles appeared in the limited edition A Winglets Collection: The First Three Stories (2016), two in the also-limited Winglets Flip Book (2019), and most notably all four titles together in the widely-released The Winglets Quartet - The First Four Stories (2020) omnibus. [5] Graphic novel adaptation [ edit ]

Frost, A. J. (June 21, 2018). "INTERVIEW: Conjuring Up Prophecies and Dragon Adventures with WINGS OF FIRE author TUI T. SUTHERLAND". The Beat. Archived from the original on January 7, 2023 . Retrieved January 6, 2023. Fiercetooth [sic], a NightWing obsessed with what could have — and should have — been. Deathbringer, desperate to prove himself as the next great NightWing assassin. Six-Claws, a loyal SandWing, who will soon find that loyalty comes with a price. Foeslayer the NightWing, a dragon in love turned kidnapper, and Prince Arctic of the IceWings, a runaway turned captive. But not every dragonet wants a destiny. And when danger threatens one of their own, Clay and his friends may choose freedom over fate … leave the mountain they have inhabited for many years … and set the dragon world on a course that no one could have predicted. In a world of dragons, the humans who scramble around underfoot are easy to overlook. But Ivy, Leaf, and Wren will each cross paths with dragons in ways that could shape the destiny of both species. Is a new future possible for all of them … one in which humans can look to the skies with hope instead of fear? Superspy middle schooler Ben Ripley is finally going to take SPYDER down, once and for all, in this latest addition to the New York Times bestselling Spy School series. In the SeaWing kingdom, a young prince learns he is an animus — capable of wonderful magic that comes with a terrible price. Burn's weirdling tower and Blister's death scene were well drawn. The weirdling tower in particular felt much creepier in visual format than in the book.

The mysterious NightWings keep everything hidden, from their home and their queen to their allegiance in the war. Now they've kidnapped their own dragonet of destiny, and Starflight is finally meeting the rest of his tribe -- whether he wants to or not. Fly further into the dangerous territories of Pyrrhia than ever before to learn the secrets behind Wings of Fire. Tsunami can't believe she's finally returning to the SeaWing Kingdom. After spending her life under a mountain, she's desperate to feel the water on her scales and be reunited with her mother, Queen Coral. Some other things I only noticed because it was a graphic novel: How do the Outclaws enforce the whole "you need to pay to get into the Scorpion Den" thing? Can't dragons just fly in? They don't need to use the gate. Would a dragon city even have a gate? And along the same lines of thinking: Why do Sunny and Smolder walk up the weirdling tower? In the original book, I assumed the tower had multiple floors, so you had to use the stairs, but here there's a clear path to fly right up and avoid the hazardous prisoner half way up. Maughan, Shannon (July 19, 2016). " 'Wings of Fire' Flying High". Publishers Weekly. Archived from the original on March 5, 2023 . Retrieved March 3, 2023. Turtle isn't so sure. The more he watches Darkstalker from the shadows, the more Turtle knows that someone needs to stop the powerful dragon. A real hero. But Turtle is running out of time to find one, which means … he might have to try to save the day himself. Want to become a Wings of Fire drawing expert? You've come to the right place!
