Hello. Trying to contribute for those having problems removing the skid pads without destroying them: using a heat blower on a 50 Celsius (very low) and preheating it for 30 seconds makes them easier to remove, using an x-acto knife with care. You can use a hair dryer but then have to be careful since is it a lot hotter. Hope to have helped someone.

It’s difficult to really compare the mice too much because they’re actually exactly the same weight and exactly the same dimensions too. The 2s is the newer of the two, and there are a few areas where it’s a noticeable improvement on the 2. The scroll wheel on the 2s isn’t as good as the MX Anywhere 3, which has a dual scroll (great for Excel and other editing work). The design is pretty sleek, it has this matte finish which is really nice in the hand. It’s very comfortable, I don’t know how well that will hold up over time, it does seem like it will get scuffed easily but I haven’t really noticed that yet in my use and travels. A bit on the pricier side, but a solid mouse that handles your day to day work excellently. The additional features improves productivity greatly, a good mouse to bring for working in any situations. I never had any wireless connection issues using the MX Anywhere with a Bluetooth connection alongside my best wireless keyboard and the occasional use of my best gaming headset with a 2.4 GHz dongle connection. When the wheel is in Ratchet mode, its two electromagnets are in matching polarity, letting magnetic force travel through the gear teeth and interact with the scroll wheel. You feel force when the gear’s teeth are close to the magnet and vice versa, resulting in friction with each line scrolled. I'm not for certain but I took mine apart without breaking it and the battery is superglued literallyThere are two ways to tell how much battery life you have left. The first is in the software, there’s a little indicator in the bottom. So, when you open up the Logitech software, you can get an idea of how much battery life is left. This indicator light on the top will flash green when it’s charged, it will flash yellow when it’s running low, it will start flashing red when it’s really low, and when it’s just pretty much dead it will be a solid red.
