About this deal

All appear to have been designed without the ability to adjust brightness. Brightness adjustment kit available here: Let’s start with the marquee game, STREET FIGHTER II TURBO: HYPER FIGHTING. An unreal, amped-up iteration of the title that absolutely revolutionized the fighting game genre! From Ryu to Ken to Chun-Li and all of your other favorite combatants, perfect your combos, and pile up those victories. Also included are STREET FIGHTER II™: CHAMPION EDITION and SUPER STREET FIGHTER II TURBO. All at your fingertips, all just like how you remember them! GALAGA CABINET - Very minimal design faults; issues saving high score over 100,000; but in general high scores save pretty well on this cabinet; highly recommended NEWS 28: Added "1st Gen" and "2nd Gen" hardware sections. Added early info about 2nd gen hardware. (2nd Gen = MK2/~~FF/~~GT and later, including the counter-cade mini machines.) Iconic arcade games. Pop culture imagery that has stood the test of time. Nostalgia that transcends generations. Arcade1Up calls this the “Legacy Edition” for a reason…make that many reasons!

Executables can be placed whereever you want; they will look for their data in ./zassets

Only difference I noticed from v1.0.1 board is /root/565/04.load - the "how to play" screen for Lunar Lander. (v1.0.1 indicated the spinner was used to move. This was removed from v1.0.2) Here is a top outline list of what you will need to get your Arcade1Up playing 1000’s of games from your old arcade days as well as your home consoles. It is more detailed out below. You can find all of these parts and kits in our store.

Product Details

Volume is *CPU-controlled*, and gets set to 0, 50, or 100, depending on the position of the switch - "-"(left connects one input to GND or "+" (right connects another.) Atari 12-in-1 Cabinet - Lunar Lander missing analog thrust like arcade version; hardware & software issue (spinner could have been used, even though not arcade-accurate either at least would be analog)

Switch it up to any included game at will, with the easy-to-navigate on-screen menus. Oh, and in addition to the WiFi LIVE play, see how your high scores measure up with online WiFi leaderboards! However for some reason, the idea never popped in my head to perform a mod on an Arcade1Up until 2 months ago. My friend “Sheets” was over playing some SF2 and asked “hey, can we mod these cabinets?” I went online and upon researching discovered an entirely new world full of colorful characters and extremely creative individuals performing jaw dropping mods to these cabinets. I want to first start off by saying I’m a HUGE fan of the Arcade1Up cabinets. I’m a proud owner of PAC-MAN, Street Fighter 2 Championship edition and the latest Teenage mutant ninja turtles cabinet which I reviewed. Those who know me know that I’m no stranger to making modifications to my devices. root/roms folder contains astdelux.zip, asteroid.zip, ccastles.zip, centiped.zip, gravitar.zip, liberatr.zip, llander.zip, mhavoc.zip, milliped.zip, missile.zip, bak.quantum1.zip, quantum.zip, quantum1.zip, quantump.zip, sbrkout.zip, sbrkout3.zip, & tempest.zip. MOO is a commercial emulator, and appears to be built/licensed per cabinet; it's hard-coded to support only a specific small number of ROMs - the games that are in the cabinet. Used in SF2, Galaga, PacMan, and Space Invaders. All future cabinets are very likely to use this same emulator.Street Fighter 2 CE Cabinet - Some EMULATOR BOARDS STARTING TO MALFUNCTION OVER TIME and/or OUT OF BOX - WHEN SELECTED SUPER STREET FIGHTER II: The New Challengers instead either opens STREET FIGHTER II CE or freezes, making one game effectively unplayable - appears to primarily impact newly manufactured units. K# = Graphics Patches [Pac-Man Plus] [default K1]K0 = No patches [original graphics with COKE can.]K1 = Patched graphics [PAC can instead of COKE can] Madlittlepixel creates some very informative retro gaming videos, especially when it comes to tweaking Retropie and some of the newer retro home consoles. Only has one ROM file - /root/zassets/Taito/SpaceInvaders.zip, which contains 10 .WAV samples, sicv.maincpu, sicv.proms, and sisv.maincpu.

Arcade1Up All - Arcade1Up

Gen 2 games include MK2/ FF/GT. Countertop-size cabinets (including previously-release-as-Gen1-upright-games like PacMan) are Gen2. Yep…14 titles! KING OF DRAGONS™, STRIDER™, PROGEAR™, BATTLE CIRCUIT™, SUPER PUZZLE FIGHTER™, SATURDAY NIGHT SLAM MASTERS™, CAPCOM SPORTS CLUB™, FINAL FIGHT™, GIGA WING™, CAPTAIN COMMANDO™, ARMORED WARRIORS™, are also ALL included.Sound goes through a NSIWAY NS4165 mono amplifier chip to a single 4" speaker on the control panel. Gen2 boards have traces for a second amplifier chip, but only one is installed on the boards I've seen. NEWS 30: Final Fight is not a 2nd-Gen game. It uses the same board as all the other 1st-Gen games. Controls match SF2 exactly (but FF uses only 2 buttons per player.) Should be trivial to add FF's games to a SF board, to make a "7-in-1". Atari 12-in-1 / Asteroids / Centipede - Some games run slightly faster than they should, and some report sound effect lag - however this does not appear to be an issue or noticable for everyone. Asteroids Cabinet - Spinner is too stiff/slow, cannot play Tempest or Major Havoc well; hardware issue
