About this deal

So this is the story of a man who gave his life for his friends/brothers. Yes, it's no spoiler: Adam Brown is dead. This is a story published post mortem. But the most important thing that I have come to know is that life is not just about how we look – it’s about gaining the knowledge we need to navigate whatever life throws at us. So, I’ve included a life section to share what I’ve learned along the way, the everyday barriers that impact my confidence and how I feel.

Fearless is inspirational. Reading this story will encourage you to higher levels of love and service, for your family, your friends, your country. The life of Adam Brown will inspire you to love more, like Christ did. Of course, the book also details how laboursome his way into this elite group was and it's only right since it really is crazy what these men have to go through (but also justifyable).Katia Moore: Gaia's mother and love interest of Oliver "Loki" Moore, she was accidentally killed in an assassination attempt meant for her husband Tom. Mary Moss: A drug user introduced in the fourth book, Mary befriended Gaia but was eventually killed by Loki after he thought that she was growing too close to Gaia.

Don't take away someone's belief that makes them happy unless you can give them something better instead." Once again Fern Michaels has put out senseless garbage, though this one might be garbage plus. It did have me going for a while - in suspense wondering when the plot was going to unfold. But in the end, I just cannot give it more than one star. Here are my problems with the book: In June 2005 a spinoff series entitled Fearless FBI was launched. The series describes Gaia's post-college life, where she decides to join the FBI as opposed to the CIA, the organization her father belongs to. Gaia forms a working relationship and friendship with her partner Catherine Sanders, as well as a romantic relationship with Will Taylor. I will not give this book any stars. Not because it was so bad that 1 star would be too much but because I don't think I can quantify this book in any sort of way.

There is a quote from the Bible etched onto the memorial that stands in the shadow of World Trade Center steel that resembles a massive trident: ‘Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send? And who will go for us? And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”’ That was Adam Brown. Fearless is a clear and deeply honest portrait of an authentic American man who lived and loved with an intrepid personal velocity. For most of us, the failures and disappointments in life take their toll. Not for Adam Brown. He vanquished all life’s heartbreaks with faith, humility, and hard work. His commitment to his family and his friends helped forge Adam Brown into the rarest of warriors. Long live the Brotherhood.”

Tom Moore: The father of Gaia and D Moore, Tom is also the twin brother of Oliver. He is a CIA field agent that went by the codename Enigma, but previously worked as a Green Beret. After his brother killed his wife Katia, Tom sent Gaia away in hopes of saving her from death and danger. FEARLESS is the story of a man of extremes, whose determination was fueled by faith, family, and the love of a woman. It's about a man who waged a war against his own worst impulses and persevered to reach the top tier of the U.S. military. Always the first to volunteer for the most dangerous assignments, Adam's final act of bravery led to the ultimate sacrifice.I wish the story didn't have to end with his passing. I wish he was still here with his wife and two children to see them growing up. But then on the other hand, if he hadn't died this book would probably not have been written, and if the impact it has had in my life is any indication, I believe it will influence a lot of people for the good. And may that be a comfort to his family and friends... What broke my heart was the fact that this man gave so much over so many years, never giving up and it still wasn't enough. It's not fair. Fearless is the story of a man of extremes, whose courage and determination was fueled by faith, family, and the love of a woman. It’s about a man who waged a war against his own worst impulses and persevered to reach the top tier of the US military. Always the first to volunteer for the most dangerous assignments, Adam’s final act of bravery led to the ultimate sacrifice." ~ from Publisher's description Because during a mission Adam Brown lost the eyesight on his right eye. He was supposed to be honourably discharged BUT REFUSED. He made them let him stay (I can't even wrap my mind around how he managed that). He went on another mission some time later and was hurt again. This time, his humvee flipped over, landing on his right hand, cutting off 4 of his fingers. They were surgically reattached but - as you can imagine - the hand never worked properly again. So they wanted to honourably discharge him again. AND HE REFUSED AGAIN. He became a leftie instead. Yeah, because that is what everyone would do. Right?! He went on to become a member of the best of this elite team - the famous SEAL Team 6 (or whatever their true name is).
