I liked her dad the most but didn't like how Blair just kind of forgot about Lorraine and Jacob and anyone else that was connected to Ben. Her debut, Behind Close Doors, remains my favorite, but Bring Me Back is an entertaining thrill ride!

I was asked by the author near the middle of April if I would like to read an ARC of this book to give her feedback, and I was sworn to secrecy, so I couldn't mention this book at all lol! After a long grieving period, Finn moved on to other relationships before falling for Ellen, whom he has just gotten engaged to. Real emotions that a person in her position would be feeling and dealing with trying to pick up and move on and learn how to love again.

I totally started this book not knowing what to expect (the blurb have nothing away) but boy was I not disappointed. Twelve years later and Finn has moved on but such a pivotal event, such an all-consuming love, can never really be left behind. At first, Finn is shocked but both Finn and the detective figure the elderly neighbor must have been seeing things.
